Songs of Contemplation for Travelers and Troublemakers
Meditative Songs by Rachael Weasley

Let your work of love and justice be nourished
by a spiritual practice of singing centering chants.
Join us for a contemplative service of Taize-style singing and silence, with songs from the newly released album Songs of Contemplation for Travelers and Troublemakers. The songs are gender-inclusive, and include lyrics from the Bible and Wendell Berry. Rooted in incarnational process theology, they address a God who walks alongside us and sustains our work of love and justice. Some are suitable for marches and rallies.
Songbooks will be available by donation following the service. Proceeds will fund printing and touring costs, and recording musicians for the upcoming CD!
Rachael Weasley studied music at Oberlin College (2005) and theology at Chicago Theological Seminary (2014). While grassroots-organizing in Chicago for economic and racial justice, she wrote her first book of centering meditation music, Songs of Contemplation for Activists and Christians (2015). She is currently touring her new songbook in Seattle and Vancouver and planning a recording in 2019. She and her partner David live in Bellingham, WA.
