Bell Choir - this group is currently not active...

The clarity and purity of the sound of English handbells provides a unique musical pathway to spirituality. The mission of the Handbell Choir is to use this instrument to provide anthems, lead canticles, and accompany congregational hymns and songs. The choir plays in worship approximately once a month and at two or three concerts during the year. The choir rehearses Thursday afternoons, September through May.
What We Do
How to Get Involved
Handbells are a particularly accessible instrument; acquiring basic technique to "sound good" takes less time than with almost any other instrument. Within one piece there can be a variety of difficulties of parts, which makes bell choir a place experienced musicians can play with beginners. If you want to make music but have long ago put down your clarinet or tuba, bell choir is a great way to get involved in musical worship.
