Homecoming and Blessing of the Backpacks

Join us as we kick-off the fall season with our annual Homecoming service! Whether it has been a week, a month, a year, or many years since you’ve been home, whether you will be here in body or in spirit, join us on Homecoming Sunday. No matter where we go, what we do, or how long it has been, God is always waiting with open arms to welcome us home to love.

We also invite all children and youth to bring their backpacks to be blessed as we mark the beginning of a new school year and a new program year for our church family! We will pray especially for the young people in our midst, for their health, safety, and wellness as they learn and grow. (Adults are welcome to bring items to be blessed as well—car keys, bus passes, water bottles, whatever you keep with you daily!)

All are welcome to an all-church luncheon in the Fellowship Hall following the service.
