The final concert of NOCCO’s 10th Anniversary Season kicks off with Florence Anna Maunders’ exhilarating and avant-garde contemporary work, Badder Gyrations. Following is Francis Poulenc’s Organ Concerto, FP 93, a piece featuring dramatics contrasts from dark, intense passages to moments of whimsical charm. Become enveloped by the powerful resonance of the magnificent organs at Seattle First Baptist Church and Blessed Sacrament Church. Finally, the performance will conclude with Franz Schubert’s Symphony No. 6, D.589, highlighting NOCCO’s joyful energy with its lyrical melodies and elegant classical forms, and providing a delightful and uplifting finale to the 2024 – 2025 Concert Season.
