Play Reading Circle “The Kite Runner”

The SFBC Play Reading Circle, which meets on the first Saturday of each month, will be reading The Kite Runner at our October and November sessions. Pick up your script now at the Welcome Table in the Fellowship Hall!

This play by Matthew Spangler is a stage adaptation of the novel by Afghan-American author Khaled Hosseini. It tells the moving story of 12-year-old Amir, a wealthy Pashtun boy and Hassan, the son of his father’s Hazara servant. Themes of family, friendship, class divides, betrayal, guilt and redemption are woven into the plot.
