Begin the new year with the warmth and brilliance of Bach as the Seattle Bach Festival continues its presentation of J.S. Bach’s magnificent Christmas Oratorio (Weihnachts-Oratorium). Following last season’s performance of Parts I–III, this year’s program completes the Christmas story with Parts 4, 5, and 6 paired with the dazzling orchestral colors of Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto No. 1.
Experience jubilant choruses, graceful reflection, radiant instrumental writing, and moments of profound tenderness as Bach brings the final chapters of the Christmas story to life. Together, these works offer a joyful celebration of renewal, hope, and musical splendor. What an inspiring way to welcome the year ahead!
