Adult Learning
Cherry Johnson led today's class in the series she put together for Lent, Reimagining Easter. Here are two quotes she shared:
"The proof that God raised Jesus from the dead is not the empty tomb, but the full hearts of his transformed disciples. The crowning evidence that he lives is not a vacant grave but a spirit-filled fellowship. Not a rolled-away stone, but a carried-away church."
~ Carl Gregg - Pluralism, Progressivism, Pragmatism blog, pathos.com
"In the midst of troubled times, be with us, God of well-being. May faithful remembering lead to compassionate reimagining. Amen"
~ Walter Brueggemann - A Way Other Than Our Own: Devotions for Lent
