Music at SFBC

Music is an essential component of life at Seattle First Baptist. With a thriving choir, seasonal concerts, and guest musicians regularly blessing our space with their talents and songs, we are excited to welcome you into our musical experiences.

For over a century, SFBC has valued and prioritized music in our community. Our choir hosts a community carol sing-along in December, as well as a spring concert, as part of our social justice concert series which directly benefits a local non-profit organization or charity. The music we sing together helps define who we are, what we value, and how we reflect that in our time together: join us as music brings us together, fosters community, highlights our heritage and faith, and is integral to our mission for social, racial, economic, and political justice.

How do I join the choir?

Our choir is open to all, and anyone can join at any time.  You do not need to know how to read music, and we invite all who love to sing.  We meet Sunday mornings (typically at 10:20 am), as well as Wednesday evenings at 7:00 pm, with a break in August.  Please contact our Music Minister, Ben Luedcke, at for more information.
