ICA Book Discussion “We Are Eating the Earth”

Sunday, June 14, 6:30-8:00pm on Zoom

Interfaith Climate Action invites you to join in an engaging all-church discussion of Michael Grunwald’s groundbreaking book We Are Eating the Earth: The Race to Fix Our Food System and Save Our Climate. The conversation takes place on June 14 from 6:30 to 8:00pm on Zoom: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/89922513158.

The Washington Post calls the book “A thrilling and provocative survey of inventions, innovations, and wild flights of imagination aimed at feeding more people while using less land” and adds that “People who would rather solve problems than posture over them . . . will find in this book a bracing, beautiful picture of what’s possible—and a sobering look at the difficulty of change.” The Seattle Public Library and King County Library System have copies of the book, and you can contact Lynn Gaertner-Johnston about borrowing a copy from ICA at Coffee Hour. Please join this sure-to-be-lively conversation even if you haven’t read the book. Contact smallgroups@seattlefirstbaptist.org for more information.
